Junio y julio en Artfull Forest: expansión, logros y nuevas conexiones
Los meses de junio y julio han sido una verdadera temporada de expansión, cumplimiento de metas y conexión para Artfull Forest. Nos llena de alegría compartir algunos de los momentos más importantes antes de tomar una merecida pausa y regresar recargadxs a mediados de agosto.
✨Este mes tuvimos el honor de participar virtualmente en el foro regional “The Multiplier Effect: Women Shaping the Future of Caribbean Tourism”, organizado por el United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) y la Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
Fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora que reafirmó el impacto transformador de las mujeres en el turismo a nivel regional. Se compartieron datos reveladores sobre cómo la participación femenina ha sido clave en el desarrollo empresarial del Caribe, así como los desafíos que aún enfrentamos.
Salimos inspiradas, con la certeza de que vamos por el camino correcto y con mucho ánimo para seguir trabajando por un turismo más equitativo, inclusivo y regenerativo.
✨ Nos certificamos en CPR y AED con la Cruz Roja, reafirmando nuestro compromiso con el bienestar y la seguridad de quienes participan en nuestras experiencias en la naturaleza.
✨ Ahora somos parte oficial de Women in Tourism Puerto Rico (WITPR), el primer colectivo de mujeres en el sector turístico de la isla. Ser parte del grupo fundador ha sido un verdadero honor — un espacio de apoyo mutuo, educación continua y colaboración entre mujeres que lideran con propósito y corazón. ✨ Junto a WITPR, comenzamos a promocionar las experiencias de Artfull Forest como parte de la iniciativa #ResidenciaConEllas, un proyecto cultural creado por Women in Tourism Puerto Rico en celebración de la Residencia de Bad Bunny. Juntas, estamos promoviendo nuestro patrimonio cultural y el talento local desde una mirada auténtica y colaborativa. Artfull Forest tendrá el honor de aportar su granito de arena a este evento tan significativo para Puerto Rico, con experiencias programadas para los meses de agosto y septiembre.
🌿 Mientras tanto, nuestro próximo taller será en octubre y se enfocará en el arte del branch weaving — una experiencia meditativa, textil y natural que invita a reconectar con el entorno desde la creatividad. Muy pronto anunciaremos la fecha oficial.
Y eso no es todo… ¡vienen colaboraciones nuevas que nos tienen muy emocionadxs! Estamos sembrando alianzas que expanden nuestra misión de inspirar, sanar y conectar a través del arte y la naturaleza.

June & July at Artfull Forest: growth, milestones, and meaningful connections
June and July have been a true season of expansion, fulfilled goals, and meaningful connection for Artfull Forest. We’re filled with joy to share some of the most important highlights before taking a well-earned break and returning recharged in mid-August.
This month, we had the honor of participating virtually in the regional forum “The Multiplier Effect: Women Shaping the Future of Caribbean Tourism,” organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
It was an incredibly enriching experience that reaffirmed the transformative role of women in tourism across the Caribbean. The forum highlighted powerful data on how women’s participation has been key to entrepreneurial growth in the region, while also addressing the challenges that remain.
We left inspired—confident that we’re on the right path and energized to keep building a more equitable, inclusive, and regenerative tourism future.
✨ We became certified in CPR and AED with the Red Cross, reinforcing our commitment to safety and well-being in every one of our nature-based experiences.
✨ We officially joined Women in Tourism Puerto Rico (WITPR), the first collective of women in the island’s tourism sector. Being part of the founding group is an incredible honor—WITPR is a space filled with mutual support, ongoing learning, and meaningful collaborations led by women with purpose and heart. ✨ Together with WITPR, we began promoting Artfull Forest experiences as part of #ResidenciaConEllas, a cultural initiative created by Women in Tourism Puerto Rico in celebration of Bad Bunny’s Residency. Together, we are uplifting Puerto Rico’s cultural heritage and local talent through an authentic and collaborative lens. Artfull Forest is honored to contribute to this meaningful event for Puerto Rico, with experiences scheduled for August and September.
🌿 Meanwhile, our next workshop is coming in October and will focus on the meditative and tactile art of branch weaving—a creative way to reconnect with the environment through slow, intentional making. We’ll announce the official date soon!
And that’s not all… new collaborations are on the way, and we’re thrilled! We’re cultivating partnerships that help expand our mission to inspire, heal, and connect through art and nature.
✨ We’ll be taking a short break to rest and recharge. See you in mid-August with renewed energy and more beautiful experiences to share!

Donde algo florece, todo comienza: pausas que inspiran crecimiento
Mayo en movimiento: raíces que se afirman, ideas que florecen
Mayo fue un mes de transformación viva. Un tiempo de pausas fértiles, donde las raíces se afianzan y los cimientos se fortalecen para sostener nuevas y emocionantes propuestas. Aprendimos que todo lo que crece necesita su ritmo, y que la forma se revela poco a poco, como el árbol que se deja llevar por el viento con confianza en su propia sabiduría.
En Artfull Forest, este mes nos invitó a reorganizar con intención y a escuchar con más claridad el pulso de lo que quiere surgir. Nuevas ideas encontraron su lugar, y el espacio se abrió para recibir lo que está listo para florecer. Porque en cada cambio hay una semilla de oportunidad.
En ese proceso, el bosque fue nuestro espejo y refugio. Las caminatas lentas, el canto de los pájaros, la luz entre las hojas… cada instante en la naturaleza nos recordó la belleza de estar presentes. La terapia forestal, con su calma profunda, fue bálsamo y guía.
Y como regalo de este fluir, llegaron nuevas colaboraciones que nos llenan de alegría. En junio, damos la bienvenida a una nueva facilitadora con energía renovada, y junto a otra terapeuta forestal con visión compartida, ya sembramos ideas que florecerán en los próximos meses.
Mayo nos enseñó que la vida se mueve como la naturaleza: se expande, se transforma y se renueva. Y en cada paso hay oportunidad de crecer con más fuerza y claridad.
🌿 Gracias por ser parte de este bosque en movimiento. Seguimos encontrándonos, donde la creatividad y la naturaleza se abrazan.

En estas imágenes, compartimos destellos de los talleres que florecerán en junio y julio: encuentros creativos con impresión botánica, materiales recolectados con intención y momentos de pausa compartida. Regresamos a Ciales para uno de ellos, y abrimos las puertas a un nuevo refugio de luz y verdor, donde la naturaleza continúa siendo nuestra sabia maestra, musa e inspiración para el verano.

May in Motion: Rooting Deep, Letting Ideas Bloom
May was a month of vibrant transformation—a time of fertile pauses where roots took hold and strong foundations began to form in support of fresh, exciting offerings. We were reminded that everything that grows needs its own rhythm, and that structure often emerges slowly—like a tree dancing with the wind, trusting its ancient wisdom.
At Artfull Forest, this month was about reorganizing with intention and listening more clearly to the pulse of what’s beginning to take shape. New ideas found their place, and space opened up to welcome what’s ready to bloom. Because within every shift, there’s a seed of possibility.
Through it all, the forest remained our mirror and sanctuary. Slow walks, birdsong, the light filtering through leaves… every moment in nature reminded us of the beauty of presence. Forest therapy, with its gentle rhythm and grounding calm, became both guide and healing balm.
And as often happens when we trust the process, new connections blossomed—bringing joy and momentum. In June, we’ll be welcoming a new facilitator full of fresh energy, and we’ve also planted the seeds for beautiful projects alongside a fellow forest therapy guide who shares our vision and purpose.
May reminded us that life, like nature, expands, transforms, and renews itself. And with every step, we’re invited to root deeper and grow in new directions.

What’s Coming
These images offer a glimpse into the workshops blooming in June and July: creative processes using botanical prints, natural materials gathered with intention, and time shared in stillness. We’ll return to Ciales for one of the gatherings and open the doors to a brand-new refuge full of light and greenery—where nature remains our wise teacher, inspiring muse, and creative sanctuary for the season ahead.

Nuestro Primer Murmullo Verde: Arte, Conservación y Conexión en Ciales, Puerto Rico

Dos lenguajes, una voz | Two languages, one voice
El mes pasado tuvimos el honor de participar en Murmullo Verde, un evento único celebrado en el corazón del bosque de Ciales, Puerto Rico. Esta experiencia marcó una nueva etapa para Artfull Forest dentro de una comunidad creciente de artistas y guardianes del entorno natural, unidos por el deseo de crear y conservar.
Organizado con profundo respeto por la tierra y el arte, Murmullo Verde reunió a cuatro artistas que exploramos distintas disciplinas creativas vinculadas con la naturaleza: Aimee Siberón – grabado (printmaking) Gladys Serrano – textiles botánicos, Elizabeth Edgerton – pinturas con pigmentos minerales, Jorge Torres – cianotipo
Cada uno ofrecimos una ventana distinta hacia el paisaje que nos rodeaba, resaltando su belleza, fragilidad y vitalidad.
Una de las particularidades más memorables del evento fueron los recorridos guiados por el bosque, donde las y los visitantes descubrían obras integradas al entorno natural. Estas piezas no solo dialogaban con el paisaje, sino que parecían surgir de él, como susurros creativos que invitaban a la contemplación, la pausa y la conexión.
Durante la jornada inaugural también compartimos procesos creativos en vivo, conversaciones abiertas sobre arte y sostenibilidad, y una atmósfera íntima donde el bosque no fue solo un escenario, sino un colaborador activo en cada propuesta artística.
Tras una cálida apertura, Murmullo Verde se extendió durante todo un mes, con programación activa cada fin de semana. Durante esos cuatro fines de semana se ofrecieron recorridos guiados por el bosque y charlas educativas dirigidas al público, enfocadas en los medios presentados por los artistas participantes. Estas sesiones se convirtieron en espacios valiosos de intercambio, aprendizaje y exploración, donde pudimos compartir tanto los procesos técnicos como la dimensión espiritual y ecológica de nuestras prácticas artísticas.
Desde la luz filtrada entre los árboles hasta los sonidos del viento y la vida silvestre, cada elemento se convirtió en inspiración viva. Fue un evento que celebró la intersección entre la expresión artística y la conciencia ecológica, y que reafirmó nuestro propósito en Artfull Forest: fomentar una relación más profunda, creativa y consciente con la naturaleza.

Our First Murmullo Verde: Art, Conservation and Connection in Ciales, PR

Last month, we had the honor of participating in Murmullo Verde, a unique event held in the heart of the forest in Ciales, Puerto Rico. This experience marked a new chapter for Artfull Forest within a growing community of artists and environmental stewards, united by the desire to create and conserve.
Organized with deep respect for both land and art, Murmullo Verde brought together four artists exploring different creative disciplines connected to nature: Aimee Siberón – printmaking, Gladys Serrano – botanical textiles, Elizabeth Edgerton – mineral pigment painting, Jorge Torres – cyanotype
Each of us offered a unique lens into the surrounding landscape, highlighting its beauty, fragility, and vitality.
One of the most memorable aspects of the event were the guided walks through the forest, where visitors encountered artworks integrated into the natural surroundings. These pieces didn’t just coexist with the landscape—they seemed to emerge from it, as creative whispers inviting contemplation, stillness, and connection.
Throughout the opening day, we also shared live creative processes, open conversations on art and sustainability, and an intimate atmosphere where the forest was not just a backdrop, but an active collaborator in every artistic offering.
Following a warm and welcoming opening, Murmullo Verde extended over an entire month, with active programming every weekend. During those four weekends, visitors enjoyed guided walks through the forest and educational talks focused on the artistic mediums presented by the participating artists. These sessions were valuable spaces for exchange, learning, and exploration—where we shared not only technical processes, but also the spiritual and ecological dimensions of our artistic practices.
From the filtered light between the trees to the sounds of the wind and wildlife, every element became living inspiration. It was an event that celebrated the intersection of artistic expression and ecological awareness, and one that reaffirmed our purpose at Artfull Forest: to foster a deeper, more creative and conscious relationship with nature.
We are deeply grateful to our fellow artists and to everyone who walked with us that day—and on the weekends that followed. This first Murmullo was only the beginning. May many more follow.
