Junio y julio en Artfull Forest: expansión, logros y nuevas conexiones
Los meses de junio y julio han sido una verdadera temporada de expansión, cumplimiento de metas y conexión para Artfull Forest. Nos llena de alegría compartir algunos de los momentos más importantes antes de tomar una merecida pausa y regresar recargadxs a mediados de agosto.
✨Este mes tuvimos el honor de participar virtualmente en el foro regional “The Multiplier Effect: Women Shaping the Future of Caribbean Tourism”, organizado por el United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) y la Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
Fue una experiencia sumamente enriquecedora que reafirmó el impacto transformador de las mujeres en el turismo a nivel regional. Se compartieron datos reveladores sobre cómo la participación femenina ha sido clave en el desarrollo empresarial del Caribe, así como los desafíos que aún enfrentamos.
Salimos inspiradas, con la certeza de que vamos por el camino correcto y con mucho ánimo para seguir trabajando por un turismo más equitativo, inclusivo y regenerativo.
✨ Nos certificamos en CPR y AED con la Cruz Roja, reafirmando nuestro compromiso con el bienestar y la seguridad de quienes participan en nuestras experiencias en la naturaleza.
✨ Ahora somos parte oficial de Women in Tourism Puerto Rico (WITPR), el primer colectivo de mujeres en el sector turístico de la isla. Ser parte del grupo fundador ha sido un verdadero honor — un espacio de apoyo mutuo, educación continua y colaboración entre mujeres que lideran con propósito y corazón. ✨ Junto a WITPR, comenzamos a promocionar las experiencias de Artfull Forest como parte de la iniciativa #ResidenciaConEllas, un proyecto cultural creado por Women in Tourism Puerto Rico en celebración de la Residencia de Bad Bunny. Juntas, estamos promoviendo nuestro patrimonio cultural y el talento local desde una mirada auténtica y colaborativa. Artfull Forest tendrá el honor de aportar su granito de arena a este evento tan significativo para Puerto Rico, con experiencias programadas para los meses de agosto y septiembre.
🌿 Mientras tanto, nuestro próximo taller será en octubre y se enfocará en el arte del branch weaving — una experiencia meditativa, textil y natural que invita a reconectar con el entorno desde la creatividad. Muy pronto anunciaremos la fecha oficial.
Y eso no es todo… ¡vienen colaboraciones nuevas que nos tienen muy emocionadxs! Estamos sembrando alianzas que expanden nuestra misión de inspirar, sanar y conectar a través del arte y la naturaleza.

June & July at Artfull Forest: growth, milestones, and meaningful connections
June and July have been a true season of expansion, fulfilled goals, and meaningful connection for Artfull Forest. We’re filled with joy to share some of the most important highlights before taking a well-earned break and returning recharged in mid-August.
This month, we had the honor of participating virtually in the regional forum “The Multiplier Effect: Women Shaping the Future of Caribbean Tourism,” organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
It was an incredibly enriching experience that reaffirmed the transformative role of women in tourism across the Caribbean. The forum highlighted powerful data on how women’s participation has been key to entrepreneurial growth in the region, while also addressing the challenges that remain.
We left inspired—confident that we’re on the right path and energized to keep building a more equitable, inclusive, and regenerative tourism future.
✨ We became certified in CPR and AED with the Red Cross, reinforcing our commitment to safety and well-being in every one of our nature-based experiences.
✨ We officially joined Women in Tourism Puerto Rico (WITPR), the first collective of women in the island’s tourism sector. Being part of the founding group is an incredible honor—WITPR is a space filled with mutual support, ongoing learning, and meaningful collaborations led by women with purpose and heart. ✨ Together with WITPR, we began promoting Artfull Forest experiences as part of #ResidenciaConEllas, a cultural initiative created by Women in Tourism Puerto Rico in celebration of Bad Bunny’s Residency. Together, we are uplifting Puerto Rico’s cultural heritage and local talent through an authentic and collaborative lens. Artfull Forest is honored to contribute to this meaningful event for Puerto Rico, with experiences scheduled for August and September.
🌿 Meanwhile, our next workshop is coming in October and will focus on the meditative and tactile art of branch weaving—a creative way to reconnect with the environment through slow, intentional making. We’ll announce the official date soon!
And that’s not all… new collaborations are on the way, and we’re thrilled! We’re cultivating partnerships that help expand our mission to inspire, heal, and connect through art and nature.
✨ We’ll be taking a short break to rest and recharge. See you in mid-August with renewed energy and more beautiful experiences to share!
