Septiembre: procesos, entrelazados y propósito

Septiembre ha sido un mes de procesos más internos que externos. Un tiempo de silencios fértiles, de ordenar y observar con calma cómo se entrelazan las distintas ramas de mi práctica creativa.

En Artfull Forest sigo afinando experiencias para que cada caminata tenga raíces profundas y pueda sostener a quienes se acerquen al bosque en busca de conexión, calma y creatividad. En este camino también han llegado propuestas, y parte del aprendizaje ha sido reconocer que no todas se alinean con la visión que queremos sembrar. Decir que no también es una manera de cuidar la integridad del proyecto.

Al mismo tiempo, mi práctica artística —grabados, acuarelas y exploraciones de Aimee in Ink— se ha convertido en un puente vital entre lo que aprendo caminando y lo que expreso en el papel. Es la voz artística de Artfull Forest, donde la naturaleza encuentra su reflejo en la tinta y el trazo.

Desde 2024 he ido transformando mi estudio de diseño, Image Maker, hacia un rumbo más claro: acompañar proyectos con propósito. Ese proceso se concretó este año 2025, alineando definitivamente el estudio con iniciativas que dejan huella en la cultura, la memoria y el entorno. No se trata solo de diseñar marcas, sino de acompañar procesos con propósito, que tengan raíces igual de profundas que las de un árbol.

Este mes también ha sido un cierre de ciclo de trabajo: proyectos que venimos desarrollando desde hace tiempo y que ahora en octubre verán la luz. Dos lanzamientos que reflejan ese entrelazado:
✨ Un brand inspirado en el bosque, donde diseño y naturaleza se encuentran.
✨ Un proyecto sobre la historia del diseño en Puerto Rico, que rescata nuestras raíces y celebra la diversidad de nuestra memoria visual.

No es sencillo mantener estos hilos juntos —el bosque, el arte, el diseño—, pero cada día descubro que justamente en ese entrelazado está la fuerza de lo que hago. Y aunque a veces los tiempos se alargan, prefiero caminar con honestidad y paciencia, confiando en que los brotes llegan cuando las raíces están listas.

September: processes, intertwinings, and purpose

September has been a month of inner processes rather than outward ones. A time of fertile silences, of arranging and calmly observing how the different branches of my creative practice intertwine.

In Artfull Forest, I continue refining experiences so that each walk may have deep roots and truly sustain those who come to the forest in search of connection, calm, and creativity. Along the way, new proposals have come forward, but part of the learning has been to recognize that not all of them align with the vision we want to cultivate. Saying no is also a way of protecting the integrity of the project.

At the same time, my artistic practice —prints, watercolors, and explorations through Aimee in Ink— has become a vital bridge between what I learn while walking and what I express on paper. It is the artistic voice of Artfull Forest, where nature finds its reflection in ink and line.

Since 2024 I have been gradually reshaping my design studio, Image Maker, toward a clearer direction: accompanying projects with purpose. This process came fully into focus in 2025, aligning the studio with initiatives that leave a mark on culture, memory, and the environment. It’s not just about designing brands, but about accompanying processes with purpose, with roots as deep as those of a tree.

This month also marks the closing of a cycle of work: projects we have been developing for some time and that will be unveiled this October. Two launches that reflect this interweaving:
✨ A brand inspired by the forest, where design and nature meet.
✨ A project on the history of design in Puerto Rico, which rescues our roots and celebrates the diversity of our visual memory.

It’s not easy to keep these threads together —the forest, art, and design— but every day I discover that it is precisely in this interweaving where the strength of my work lies. And although timelines sometimes stretch, I prefer to walk with honesty and patience, trusting that the sprouts will come when the roots are ready.
